The shine of which has caught my eyes.

Our physical appearance gives away most of our personality right at the start, and although there are a few teenagers out there (and sadly some adults) who say that the outer projection has nothing to do with the inner character its been proven true through out the years.
So first lets examine the curvature of the spine, the slouched posture, and the small pot belly protruding from a rather slim figure.
The spine is most possibly curved due to excessive time spent at the computer screen, or at a desk, hunched over- giving something undivided attention.
The posture is either aftermath of such behavior and can not be helped, or it is just lack in conviction.
The unseemly weight gain was probably sudden as it hasn't yet quite settled into the figure. (Possibly showing a downward spiral into slight depression or self loathing.)
Upon further inspection one sees the deep set eyes, dull and lacking color. Lacking life. Purple sleepless bruises stain the skin there seeping into the rest of the pale skin.
Skin sickly yellow, like wallpaper.

Its a sad character I'm afraid to say. hopeless in its efforts, fruitless, and there for prone to giving up. Has already given up.
A deep wound of misunderstanding, complicated with vast intelligence and the terrible question, "Why?"
Their writings cover the loathing not only for themselves, but for another, praising that other in such a way- you can't help but notice the sarcasm, even if it wasn't intentional.
The words leave a bitter taste, and the examiner knows all too well the root of the problem.

There is therefore now no condemnation
to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh,
but after the Spirit
-Romans 8:1,2
